About Alon
Alon Geller is an optical engineer with over 10 years of experience in optical design and lab setup. He has designed tens of lenses, mostly in the visible or thermal IR, using spherical, asphere, and diffractive surfaces. Additionally, Alon completed numerous non-imaging projects in the fields of spectroscopy, radiometry, and technical illumination. Alon holds a bachelor's degree in optics from the University of Rochester, and has attended numerous professional courses for Zemax, Tracepro, Labview, spectroscopy, radiometry, thin films, and others.
Alon has a unique understanding of the way light behaves, and how to control light to achieve customer objectives.
Alon is a hard-working self-starter who invariably understands exactly what the goal of the assignment is from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. On the interpersonal side, Alon has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
